Baked Lemon Crumb Fish

Any fish fillet

1/4 c. margarine

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper

1/4 tsp. basil

Melt margarine add lemon juice, pepper and basil. Dip fillets in mixture and then in dry bread crumbs. Lay in one layer in greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until done. Good for no salt, low cholesterol diet.


Alternative for low salt, no sugar, low cholesterol diet.

1/2 c. dry bread crumbs 1/4 c. dried milk 1/2 c. water

1/4 c. chopped green pepper

1 med. onion, chopped

2 egg whites

1/4 c. low sodium catsup

2 tsp. prepared horseradish 1 tsp. prepared mustard

Combine ingredients; mix well. Pack in 9"x5" loaf pan or 2 small pans. Spread with Topping:
